I am a strong believer in the basics and the importance of unfloored technique.

As a young player in England where enthusiasm was high it can take one a long way.

However when pressure is applied one can see floors and the whole thing comes tumbling down.

There are many stories and fables and humpty dumpty is just one of them .

It goes like this

Humty dumpty sat on a wall

Humty dumpty had a big fall

All the kings horses and all the kings men

Could not put humpty together again

What this means to me is that when the young player is training how one trains is very important because of what can break down is humty dumties technique of sitting on the wall.

KISS is a methodology that starts at a very young age and creates a player that is unfloored so when pressure is applied there is no breakdown.
